Now in it's 5th year, the Sheffield Print Fair is an established event that features a wide range of printmaking disciplines from over 40 artists/printmakers, and applications to participate are now open.
This year's fair will take place on Saturday 11th November 2017, at St Mary's Church & Community Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, from 10am until 4pm, and will feature printmaker stalls as well as print demonstrations and kids print workshops throughout the day. There will also be a print raffle to raise funds for St Mary's and their projects helping homeless people and refugees.
The event is supported by Folksy, as well a new partners Sheffield City of Makers, an organisation which promotes creative practices in the city, and Hawthorn Printmaker Supplies, who will be at the fair with their presses and other printmaking goodies.
There are 44 stalls available for artists/printmakers who wish to take part, so if you work in any of the traditional print techniques such as woodcut, mezzotint, linocut, screen-print, wood-engravings, digital prints, monoprints and so on, this is the event for you. They are also looking for people who are interested in doing a demonstration of their print technique.
The application deadline is 3rd September 2017. To apply or find out more information visit http://sheffieldprintfair.blogspot.co.uk/2017/06/sheffield-print-fair-2017-call-for.html
