MAKE: Butterfly Garlands

Try this easy rainy day make with your kids, will keep them quiet long enough for you to finish a cuppa at least!

You will need:

  • Plain card (or cereal box card)
  • Pens, glitter, sequins shiny paper to decorate
  • Glue and / or sticky tape
  • Ribbon or string for hanging

Draw lots of butterfly shapes onto card (can do stars or anything they fancy) and cut round them.

Let your little ones loose with coloured pens and shiny things until you have enough to make a garland or hanging.

Tape single butterflies on to ribbon or string, or if you have enough glue two butterflies together with the ribbon inbetween.

Hang in the window and admire!

Love this really simply idea.

Love this really simply idea. Could change the shape to trains or skulls for little boys.
